The last day of the school year is always a monumental celebration for the whole school community. To mark the end of a successful academic year, on the 1st of July 2022, LEH International School Foshan held a Prize Giving Ceremony followed by the End of Year Celebration fair which brought all families together one more time before the well-deserved summer holiday.

每逢学年的最后一天，学校社区都会举办盛大的庆祝活动，庆祝过去一个学年的圆满结束。在本学年最后一天，2022年7月1日，佛山市霍利斯外籍人员子女学校举行了学生颁奖仪式和学年庆典活动，让所有老师、家长和学生在假期开始前再次相聚在一起，庆祝这一年的收获与成长。

On this day we celebrated for the first time the academic success of our students and we acknowledged the personal growth of our students through the recognition of our 8cs.

我们表彰了学生们在学业上取得的成绩和进步，并对他们践行学校8C价值观的表现给予认可和嘉奖。

Over the past year, we have seen the school continue to grow and develop and heard about all the academic, sporting, musical and pastoral achievements throughout the school; we were so proud of them. It was not only achievement that we recognised but also the importance of a positive mindset and the determination of students to try their best at all times. Hence there were two awards, for Academic Attainment and Academic Progress.

在过去一年里，我们共同见证着学校的蓬勃发展，目睹学生们在学术、体育、音乐、个人成长等各个方面所取得的进步和成就，这让我们深感自豪。在颁奖仪式上，我们为学生们颁发了学术成就奖和学术进步奖。这也意味着我们不只是歌颂最出色的成绩，更是想鼓励学生们保持积极向上的心态，在任何时刻都能全力以赴，发挥出自己的水平，并不断提升自己。

Our 8C values, the 8 competencies, skills and attitudes we believe in and design to assist our students to survive and thrive in the modern world were also celebrated and awarded during the ceremony. These eight prestigious awards were presented to students who have demonstrated and gone beyond the values of each competency.

佛山霍利斯归纳了八种能力、技能和态度（8C品质），并深信这八种品质能够帮助我们的学生在日新月异的社会中生存和发展。接下来我们为展现出这些能力和态度学生们嘉奖。

学年庆典

After the Prize Giving Ceremony, everyone was invited to the pitch to join our celebration event.

在颁奖仪式结束后，全校师生和家长们纷纷移步至学校操场，参加我们的学年庆典活动。

A big thank you to all our supportive vendors who brought in delicious food and beverages, lots of family-friendly fun games and even a cute pony to the campus. We were happy to see that students and families enjoyed themselves and fully engaged in various activities.

非常感谢摊主们对佛山霍利斯学年庆典活动的大力支持！他们为我们带来了精致的美食和有趣的亲子游戏，甚至还有一匹可爱的小马！在活动现场，我们很高兴能看到学生和家长们都玩得非常尽兴。

On the other side, a rich programme of student performances kept the stage busy – the LEH Foshan mini–Talent Show. It wouldn’t be called a celebration without any music and dancing; our talented young singers, musicians and dancers delivered a diverse range of performances, featuring group singing, instrumental performances, ukulele ensemble, ballet, and Chinese dance.

舞台这边也热闹非凡。佛山霍利斯迷你达人秀带来了一系列精彩的学生音乐和舞蹈表演，包括合唱、乐器表演、尤克里里乐团、芭蕾舞和中国舞。

In the Guangdong area, it has been a long tradition to feature a lion dance in all sorts of celebrations. So did our End of Year Celebration. The winning dancers from the school’s Lion Dance competition performed a dance, leading the event to the climax.

在广东地区，庆祝活动少不了舞狮团队。在佛山霍利斯的学年庆典上，我们也邀请了霍利斯狮王争霸大赛中得奖的两个学生舞狮团队，为大家带来一段精彩的舞狮表演，在锣鼓声中将活动气氛推向高潮。

The day ended in lots of fun and laughter, the best way to kick off their summer holiday.

佛山霍利斯的学年庆典活动在一片欢声笑语中圆满结束，并为暑假假期拉开了帷幕。
